Loved every bit of it.............
Presently at kolkata at my alipore residency, a gloomy weather prevails outside and make me recall of goa again. This june, rather late june I visited goa
and guess what alone only went from Pune to Goa. From Pune, there is bus service both Ac/ Non AC so not a big deal. I am just 20 years old and now when allover India we can see how much violence against women started, I completed my whole journey safely. I felt freedom, felt free spirited. Goa was fully monsoon drenched that time, drizzling all time and may be if that was the weather at Pune i would have hated it to the core, but it was Goa.. How can someone hate it. I couldnot too . I visited Baga beach, calangute beach, fort aguada and calangute flea market, panjim city.I must say the market at calangute is one of the best market based on roadside markets- any kind of casuals you name it and you get it. I stayed at Casa house goa hotel at calangute, it was cheap clean friendly- nothing else i could have asked for. Some of my friends were there at Hyatt goa for their hotel management training so met them and some good times followed on.
I still recall, when I visited goa some 10 years back it was so different.I was a child too, was accompanied by mom and dad. But goa was much more clean less crowded somehow I feel I liked that goa more. But coming back this year gave me immense happiness too. Sitting by baga beach in the evening and just watching the waves come in and going back is a spellbound sight. I am amazed too see goans who still today dont have much urge to go out of that smallest state of India and start a new life. Why will they even think of doing so? cause that is goa. It will never fail to attract you with its charm again and again.
I met one of my radisson hotel pune senior and friend too out at goa, he came with his elder brother and his wife and we bonded well at goa. Thats what I like about goa it makes you feel like a family at home at ease. I am there in the snap, Identify me lol
I was staying at Castle house goa at calangute, I have mentioned earlier also the hotel is cheap some INR1400 per day and its very clean and staffs are at your service always. Infact many of the staffs were from West bengal, as I belong to Calcutta ie in west bengal it was really easy for me to connect with them. I will definitely like to visit the same hotel again as I felt at home and secured too. Since I was a solo female traveller security is definitely a huge factor.
So all female travellers do have a look at this hotel as it is good +safe.
